The Unitarian Universalist Church of Brevard's ministerial philosophy is one of Shared Ministry. Neither Rev. Dr. Wilson or Rev. Fuller (or both) are responsible for providing the sum total of ministry within the church. We minister to one another and all are empowered to develop and utilize their individual talents and gifts. Whether that entails gardening, playing hymns on the piano, cleaning up the kitchen after hospitality on Sundays, greeting guests, teaching religious education classes, leading Sunday morning worship as a service leader or any number of volunteer activities, the congregation benefits from all gifts of the heart.
UUCB is blessed to have contracts with two members of the clergy. Rev. Dr. Gregory Wilson provides ministerial services on the first and third Sundays of each month. Rev. Ann Fuller typically provides ministerial services on the second Sunday of each month. The fourth and fifth Sundays provide an opportunity for members of our congregation, lay speakers or other members of the clergy to share their inspirational thoughts with us in the context of communal worship.
